Introduction
I worked for 6 years with wild exotic animals. From elephants and giraffes to primates and porcupines to coyotes and snow leopards, I have worked with them all. My experience in the wild animal kingdom allows me to have a greater understanding of what techniques work, which don't, and how to implement them at the right times. Working with wild animals has given me an instinct that enhances training. I believe my work stands out from other trainers because I never ever see my clients as anything more than what they really are: unique people who have all the ability to lead their dog...they just need a little guidance in doing so.
The most rewarding part of my career is helping families. Each new client gives me the opportunity to improve not only the life of the dog but also the lives of the family owning that dog. My favorite session is the last session because the sense of accomplishment and achievement on the faces of my clients is priceless. I am only the guide and I make that very clear in my training. It is the owners that do the really hard work and I am so incredibly proud of them each time one is successful in their journey.

Stephanie came to our house to try to train one of our dogs. The first visit was only talking to us and asking for $1500 up front with 20 visits to help train our dog. Well she visited us but all she did was talk to us about feeding our dogs raw food. However when it was time to train the dog when she visited Stephanie took maybe 10min. With the dog. This went on for about 10 visits. After the 10 visits she said I think your dog is doing great and only call me if you need me. This wasn't what the contract said at all. Therefor the contract was broken by the trainer. I know this because I studied law contracts at a well known university for 5 years. I do not recommend Pawfect Paws to anyone. You would do better taking your dog to the park for training at very little cost then going to Pawfect Paws. I hope this helps anyone who is thinking of going this direction. One more thing never ever pay full amount up front and the reviews are friends of Stephanie. Richard

Stephanie was VERY thorough in her analysis of my dogs. She is VERY gentle, patient, kind and I am overly happy with the results of her training sessions so far. She has only seen my 4 dogs twice, but already I have seen changes in them on the things she/I are working on. I would HIGHLY recommend Stephanie. Just my two cents =)

Awesome animal behavioralist! We have three siberian huskies and just adopted a 10 month old border collie. With Stephanie's help the pack is assimilating quite nicely.

This is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. She has no clue what she is doing as far as dog training. She had no structure in a training sessions. She would show up and talk for an hour and leave . It was a complete waste of money. I was not happy with my sessions and she told me she would refund my money and never did after multiple attempts to contact her. If you are looking for real dog training hire a professional and don't spend a dime on this.
If I could give it zero stars I would.

I'm sorry you feel this way. However, seeing as I don't run my company this way and have no "Rebeca R." In my clientele, I believe you have mistaken me for someone else. My policies are far different from what you explain here. I have never worked with this person and do not know who they are.

Very disappointing!! We paid Stephanie $1500 up front at her recommendation to save money that way. We paid for her package that offers 25 sessions with no time limit. We did so because we needed flexibility with kids sports schedules and school. She took our money but did not deliver on the 25 sessions because she said she didnt "tally" the sessions. In addition, her training consisted of coming and siting and talking for an hour while her dog sadie ran around the yard with our two dogs. No other training outside of that?? Not impressed to say the least. We know that our younger dog was more dominant. Other trainers have told us that was the case. Stephanie wanted to take her for the weekend to prove that was not the case. She told us she was not going to charge for that because she felt it was not a dominant issue. Stephanie recommended after that weekend that she was not dominant but that we give her back to the breeder for another dog that would be a better temperament with our older dog. However, we did not take that advice since we were already attached to our younger dog. Guess what? As the younger dog as matured she gets along great with our older dog so we are SO glad we never took her advice on that. At the end of the day, regardless of what Stephanie may say, we signed a contract and have a credit card receipt for $1500. I have texted her and she says there was a time limit when the package we signed up for was 25 sessions...no time limit. I have texted her again asking to deliver all 25 sessions or provide a refund for sessions not accounted for. She is not responding which is not good business and is a poor reflection on her creditability and business. The least she could have done in good faith was honor the very contract she wanted us to sign. She is not providing a refund for lost sessions. We have had crazy schedules with the kids along with the death of a family member. She insists we are out of luck because she says there was a timeline when we choose and paid for the 25 session package so we were not held to a timeline. Anyhow, initially it seemed like this was a good way to go. I saw Rebecca's review dated July 2013 where she stated Stephanie just came to the house and just sat and talk. Stephanie's response was that she never knew her. LOL. All I can say is that $1500 was alot of money for our family to spend on training and wish we would have spent it with someone who honored their agreement.
