- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I listen. Your job is to just share what you know and trust I'll ask questions to fill in the blanks. If there is text involved for a logo, business cards or brochure, send on over in an email or Word document. I'll review everything and ask more questions. Once we confirm I have a clear view of your vision and needs, I'll create a time-line and confirm the cost estimate provided. As an illustrator I often sketch ideas first if it for logos and illustrations before moving into final art. I ask for your input and suggestions — it only gets better with your contribution. Next step is sharing proofs and then receiving any final edits. I include 2 rounds of light edits in my estimates. I'm a strong self manager and will keep the flow going to meet our timeline. I strive for clarity in communication through email and phone calls. We're really a team on this and I enjoy this much.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
* I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts from California State University, Long Beach * As an illustrator I've taken multiple advanced courses in drawing. * To keep things calm and moving along I've studied and practice Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as UCSD.
