I overflow with fun and joyful creative energy and truly love teaching. I have a Bachelors in Musical Theater and a Masters in Acting. As a trained opera singer, I possess and teach the foundation of vocal production. As a professional singer, I have experience in Musical Theater, Country, Classic Rock and Pop styles including performing in live bands and recording. I have 20 years of teaching experience with all ages in Voice and Acting. Recently, I directed a musical at Cal State San Marcos and currently teach Film at MiraCosta College. Proud member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Theresa really makes lessons fun and completely tailored to what your want to work on! We’ve worked on a variety of things - from breathing techniques to vocal run and projecting exercises. She’s very friendly and full of energy which makes the time fly and you will get comfortable quickly. You can work on your choice of genre with her, she’s very knowledgeable about all kinds and she even helped me rap in another language!

Theresa has infectious energy and is clearly a talented teacher. It’s one thing to know how to sing, it’s another thing to make someone else (a) feel comfortable to learn & (b) see progress in 30 minutes. One thing I really liked about her style is that she incorporates kinesthetic techniques along with visual and auditory. I’m definitely someone who learns best with many different modalities so finding a teacher like that is so great, especially since we are working over FaceTime. Thank you, Theresa!

Voice Training: Opera, Musical Theater, Pop, Rock, Country, Blues and Linklater Technique I have a Bachelors in Musical Theater and a Masters in Acting and over 20 years of performance experience specializing in comedy and entertainment in theater, film, tv, commercials, improvisation and teaching. I teach at MiraCosta College and have over 20 years teaching experience in acting and voice.
