FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had 4 years of post-graduate theology & 2 years of graduate clinical social work studies. I have enjoyed over 30 years of counseling experience. But meeting with couples & performing ceremonies I find is the best way to stay up with the fine art of officiating weddings.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Some years ago I was asked by a divorced mother of two girls if I could officiate at the wedding of the elder & I did. Some years later I officiated at the wedding of the younger daughter. Later I did the mother's remarriage & later still the father's second marriage. The whole family remains on good terms & all 4 marriages are intact.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet with your officiant, make sure the chemistry is right between you. If you are comfortable with him or her then you can be more confident about making a commitment. Then make a deposit to secure the arrangement.
