FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is always fair. I charge the CA state law fee for Notarizations ($15 per signature notarized) plus a traveling fee that varies according to how far from me the signer is located. If the signer has several documents to be notarized I can negotiate a discount. Traveling fee starts at $35 Apostille fee starts at $250
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Ask how many documents need notarizations and how many signers. If it is an Apostille ask how many documents and what is the country of destination. 2) Ask client’s location and give an estimate. 3) Ask when they would like to meet and give them my availability. 4) Ask client’s name and address is confirm appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took a 6 hours course approved by the California Secretary of State. I took the Notary exam. I got the National Notary Association (NNA) certification. I have a $15,000 bond and a $100,000 E&O insurance.
