- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We’re a family owned fully licensed and insured 5 star moving company that offers full service moving and storage, which includes packing and unpacking services as well. For local moves we charge on an hourly basis, so you only pay for what you need. This includes movers, trucks, fuel, insurance as well as complimentary blankets and wardrobe boxes for the day of the move. Non-reusable materials like boxes and tape are extra. California does require all licensed movers to charge double drive time, but we do not charge you to drive from our warehouse to your location and back. We do offer a cash discounted rate and have special offers on storage and packing services. Our price includes insurance coverage of up to 60 cents per pound. Additional insurance can be purchased if needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We gather all of their contact info, including day of the move, to and from addresses, moving inventory and the services they need. We get a thorough idea of what the move entails so that we can allocate the right number of men and trucks for the job. We always offer our customers our most competitive price and send them an email with the full quote, which includes all the important information for the day of the move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur since I was young and studied business in college. I then worked in the industry for many years before starting my own company.
