SD Electric Technologies did an amazing job of restoring our power after an emergency put us in the dark. We had called Leo at SD Technologies because of flickering lights which we had thought could be addressed by updating our lighting panel. The problem turned out to be a dangerous short circuit in our main panel which could have easily caused a fire. Looking at the burned and melted wires behind our meter was frightening. In just 30 hours from start to finish Leo, Nars, and their team were able to pull a permit from the City of San Diago, replace our lighting panel and our main panel, arrange for all the necessary city inspections, schedule an emergency replacement of the meter with San Diego Gas and Electric, and get our lights back on. We had used SD Technologies in the past for new lighting in our master bedroom, installation of security lights around our home, and minor electric repairs and we always found them to do good work at a reasonable price. I recommend this company for all your electric repairs and improvements. I hope you never have an emergency like we did, but if you do, you will sure be glad to have SD Technologies in your contact list.

We encountered an issue with outlets going out, but the breaker didn’t show any signs of tripping. Realizing this was beyond my expertise, I embarked on a quest to find a reliable electrician. That’s when I stumbled upon SD Electric Technologies. I was eager to resolve this matter promptly and hoped to find someone available on a Saturday. Fortunately, SD Electric Technologies dispatched an electrician within a few hours. Leo arrived and was incredibly friendly throughout the process. He explained the situation in detail and identified potential causes. He suspected that the circuit might have been overloaded, and there was an issue with the neutral wire. Additionally, Leo discovered a safety concern with our 50-amp breaker connected to our AC unit. He emphasized the importance of addressing this issue due to the risk of electrical arcs, which can be hazardous. In short, Leo not only fixed the original problem but also proactively addressed a potentially dangerous issue that other electricians might have overlooked. He ensured that all the screws securing the wires in our breaker box were tightened and conducted a thorough inspection of any other potential issues related to the breaker box. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Leo for his professionalism and thoroughness. Thanks to his expertise, our AC unit is now functioning optimally, just in time for the scorching summer heat.

They did a great job. Very professional and thorough. They replaced a electrical panel from the 1970, moved plugs and placed in new plugs for oven and microwave and much more. I would not hesitate to use them again.
