Imagine temperatures well above 100 degrees, its the weekend, after regular business hours, in Sacramento, CA; and your 21-year old air conditioning unit stopped working. Immediate desperation sets in and the search begins for a licensed contractor to restore a livable temperature in your home. After making dozens of calls, I found CADILLAC HEATING & AIR. Raymond found time in his hectic schedule to come out to diagnose and repair our aging unit. He replaced the capacitor and the service box, as well as replenish the R22 Freon. He completed a service check of the heating system and analyzed our use of filters. He made a number of recommendations and offered suggestions. The invoices were detailed and the pricing was reasonable. He was respectful of our property and the workspace was clean upon his departure. Our comfort has been restored! Cadillac was exactly what we needed. Our conditioner stopped pushing cold air. Ray immediately came out to diagnose our system. He determined that it was a multi faceted issue. He told us we were really low on the old R-22 coolant. He also found the capacitor needed to be replaced, which he did. Also the "hard start" needed to be replaced, he did these for an amazing price; Instead of trying to push a new system on me, educated us and gave us options. "I can fill your system with the older coolant, and replace these components, however, I will say this is not a permanent fix. You will need to look into replacing your system in the near future."We appreciate you Ray!~Chris
