Dog Training
During my initial phone call with Sherry, I knew immediately that she not only loved dogs but also had a lot of professional expertise. On top of that, she made me feel comfortable about leaving my very anxious and fearful pup at her place by explaining thoroughly how she will set up his sleeping quarters and how she will introduce my dog to her dogs. Sherry will send pictures of my dog to me every couple days while we're away, and tell me that he made friends with her dogs. I found that very reassuring. The main problem we had with our dog is that he is very fearful of bigger dogs (any dog larger than 20 pounds). We only left our dog with Sherry for 1 week, and she made it clear that 1 week will not be enough to train this kind of extreme fearfulness out but she will try her best to start us off on the right direction. After the week, my dog does have much less anxiety and fear when seeing bigger dogs, although the fear isn't completely gone. Sherry also taught us ways to continue the training at home and gave us tips on how to train out other behaviors that we had a problem with. Overall I'm very satisfied with the board and train that Sherry provides. I think she sets clear expectations and meets them, and she really loves dogs so I knew my little one would be well taken care of. We will definitely be back :)

Dog Training
This was February 2018 and it is now August 2019. We took the six one-hour private coaching. The dog exhibits comprehension of what she was being repeatedly told to do for public behavior. In fact, she shows that she may have understood early on, but enjoyed the sessions, so kept showing a need for more training, which is a little bit humorous. I think the price is probably what the market is for an educated, cultured trainer.

Dog Training
Sherry was very loving to our dog, kind but in control of his behavior, and gave me good tips on how to retrain him in a positive way. I was already doing some of the recommended ideas , but she helped me refine them. Gwen and Wylie the terrier.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Initial assessment (1/12 hours) $125 Board & Train $125/day Private coaching with dog and owner/family 100/hr Day training with dog $100/hour 10% discount for purchase of package of six one-hour sessions Boarding (without training) $50/night.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We begin with an initial 1 1/2 hour assessment to discuss pet owner's and dog's needs, desires, and priorities. Based on the assessment I develop a management plan and a training plan. We begin the training during the initial assessment, and I will recommend homework for the pet owner to continue the training during the week. After the assessment we will discuss which service would best meet the needs of dog and client, and proceed from there.
