Derrick was quick to respond, friendly and able to start the job right away. He did stain our two decks as promised and they look good. BUT, Derrick left in a hurry on the last day and did not check out with us to review the work. After he left we found numerous spots of stain dripped on our patio and our house siding and trim. Derrick did not use a tarp to catch drips, as one would expect. After we notified him of this, he said he was rushing to catch a plane and he would get back to us to fix this upon return. He did give back half his fee until he was able to fix the issues. For the most part all is now OK. Asked about whether he spotted these issues himself originally, he said "no". Given his other strongly positive reviews we were surprised by his lack of professionalism and attention to detail.
