- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I really believe everyone deserves photos they love and that pricing shouldn’t be a barrier to capturing those important moments. I try to keep my rates intentionally affordable, and I offer student discounts, local mini sessions, and sliding scale options when I can! I’ll always be upfront about costs, and I’m happy to talk through what’s possible within your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is super relaxed and collaborative. First, I like to get a sense of what you’re looking for, like what kind of vibe, location, and moments matter most to you. Then we’ll chat (through email or phone, whatever works for you!) and build a session that feels true to who you are. I’ll guide you through every step: planning, outfit tips, what to expect on shoot day, and how photo delivery works. The goal is always a fun, low-stress experience!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve studied photography through years of hands-on experience and self-directed learning, working with natural light, editing tools, and film-inspired styles. I have spent hours in darkrooms, hand developing and printing film. I’m also a trained educator and counselor, so I try to also bring patience, emotional awareness, and people skills to every session. Whether I’m shooting with a fidgety toddler or a shy couple, I have learned how to adapt and connect.
