Introduction: When you hire The Window Stylist for your design project, you'll never be met by a high pressure sales person. You will work one on one with an experienced interior designer who will expertly guide you through the decision making process. Listening to you and understanding your needs and concerns is our highest priority. We will work together to develop a design plan that will capture your vision and provide great value at the same time. Our speciality is soft window treatments such as roman shades, curtains, valances, upholstery, cushions and pillows etc. However, we off the full array of window treatment essentials such as shutters and solar shades and full design services including space planning, color consultations. I love the process and seeing the final product. Even small touches can make a big impact and I love watching that unfold and the before and after effect. Most of all, I love making people feel happier in their homes. When clients write how they enjoy their space so much more or that they feel more at home after we've improved their space and feel proud of the work we've done, that is the ultimate reward.

I first met Jill when we asked her for some ideas for window treatments for our newly purchased weekend home that had absolutely nothing on the windows at all. Jill listened carefully to what we wanted and came back to us with beautiful fabric and design ideas that exactly captured our vision. She was able to keep our project within a reasonable budget (although doing an entire house of window treatments is not for the faint-of-heart!) and delivered our window treatments on time, including recommending a great installer. Everything looks absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. I actually feel joyful every time I walk into the house and see how beautiful the windows look. Since then, Jill has helped me choose colors for the family room remodel in our other home, as well as doing a set of window treatment for our master bedroom, including advising me on coordinating paint colors and pillows for the bed. Her eye for color and design is impeccable, and she is a pleasure to work with. I give her my highest recommendation.

It all depends on the services needed and products being ordered.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually begin with a phone call and then schedule a meeting at the client's home. At the in home meeting, we'll review the client's goals, direction and budget. We'll take measurements and get any further information needed to begin making specifications, such as pulling fabric samples, paint colors or creating a space plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied interior design at Canada College
