FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not complicated at all. I give the customer a few options. 1.) I'll give a total project price. It will be very competitive. 2.) I can give an hourly rate. 3.) I can give a very detailed consultation, for the customer that would like to be a "do it yourself type". This can be very useful to people, it can save a lot of trouble and money. Professional advise can be very fun for certain people. It can give them short cuts and help them know what to watch out for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first recommend a site visit. This allows me to get a better sense of the project and to better understand what the customer is looking for. If we agree that I am the right professional for the job. I will provide a competitive proposal and estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After several years of apprenticeship, I became a site superintendent. I supervised projects from home building to schools and restaurants and complete shopping malls. During this time I became a B-1 Licensed General Contractor.
