Introduction: I have been taking part in music my entire life, and have been in lessons for voice and piano for the past several years. I attend Vanguard University, where I will soon be graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. In these lessons, I want to cater to the kind, type or genre of music the student wants to learn, while incorporating the basics of reading, learning and understanding music.

Go with someone who you are comfortable with, but will be willing and able to push you along as well. Often, our teachers and instructors will have a better idea of our limits and allow us to go further than we might think we are able.
