I just had my first group lesson with Shane last night, and I can already tell he is going to be a great fit for me. He is patient and observant, and clearly communicates corrections right on the spot, which will help break bad habits before they are cemented in place. I am looking forward to my next lesson!Jun 14, 2018Verified
My son is new to the sport and Shane is knowledgable, patient, kind, and makes it super fun.Aug 2, 2017Verified
Shane was simply he best! My daughter had no experience even hitting the tennis ball or holding a racquet , he was patient, encouraging but very disciplined in his lessons with her :) I am from out of the area but any time I'm in town she will be taking lessons with him!May 30, 2017Verified
Shane is an excellent instructor! He's very knowledgeable about the game, skilled, and (most importantly) in possession of incredible patience. :D I'm new to the game, so getting his continuous feedback during practice is important and appreciated, as well as being able to ask questions whenever they randomly come into my mind. Can't go wrong with Shane as an instructor! I highly recommend him for anyone - youth or adult - who wants to learn the game or improve their skills.Apr 15, 2016Verified

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been a part of this sport my whole life at very high levels of competition. It is absolutely what I love and where I want to be. I wanted to start teaching tennis to have the opportunity to be part of other peoples journeys in this sport.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have experience teaching students of all ages and experience levels. I have worked with students anywhere from total beginner to college level players. Also I have worked with students ranging from 4 years old to 87 years old! I most commonly teach private one on one lessons. I also teach small groups of 2-3 people and I have experience in teaching larger group lessons. I also provide hitting lessons for those who don't want a formal lesson and just want to work on their game.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Find a provider who is in this business because they absolutely love every aspect of what they do, not because it is just a way to make money.
