Don't be afraid to ask questions -- What is your repertoire, how long are your breaks, do you take requests, can you play our favorite song? Please tell us your musical preferences and any favorite artists or songs. Let us know specifics -- suggested attire (formal or business attire), how many guests (so we can bring the appropriate sound equipment), etc. Get to know the performer, and get a good feel about him/her.
