Introduction: A website isn't just a placeholder for your business or service on the Internet; it's the vehicle for you to tell your story to EVERYONE. And, because everyone has a different story, each website must be unique and told through your voice. With more than 6 years of experience designing and developing websites for clients all around the world, I am here to work with you to tell your story and better your online presence. After all, with all the hard work all of us business owners put into our businesses, you deserve the bet you can get. Each website I create is different. I do not use a template for every site. All sites are finely crafted with you, the client, to be able to get your story — your narrative — into the minds of those who may not know what you do. Not only do I work with you to get you what you want, but I also offer my expert opinion as to what it is your need (or don't need). When you work with me, we are creating a partnership. And, the job isn't complete until you are satisfied; and, the partnership does not end upon "completion" of your site. Creative thinking, client interaction, and technology are some of my favorite things; and, with the business I have created, I am able to enjoy all three. I love being able to take people's ideas and turn them into functioning sites. Working with such a wide array of customers from around the world has been such a wonderful experience and I can't wait to do more work and help tell your story and better your online presence.

Matt built a very creative, professional and user-friendly website for my video production company in not much time at all. The most important part of my website was a format where people could see my portfolio of work in the easiest way possible and I wanted it to look nice and professional. I wanted to show a lot of work, but not make it look busy. Matt nailed it! What really impressed me about Matt was his attention to detail and his ability to think outside the box. I'm not really good with design and I told Matt just a few key points and he took it and ran with it, adding little touches and details that he didn't have to but really added to the quality and look of the site. He really cares about his work. Above his creativity and thought, is his professionalism and personality. He is incredibly easy to work with with. He is really nice and understanding and will "get" what you want and make it happen. It was overall a very pleasant experience working with Matt and I am very excited and proud of the site he created for me.

Matt took my scribbles on paper and turned them into a Wordpress site that displayed my professional work in writing, photography, video and radio. He figured out how to implement my vision when there wasn't an existing template. He paid attention to every detail I requested and gave me the site of my dreams in time for a national conference I was running (so I was able to show the attendees and feel proud of my work). He also helped troubleshoot issues that came up after my site re-launch, explaining his behind-the-scenes work so I could have more ownership of my site's maintenance in the future. Even years after he finished the project, he was available to answer questions and help resolve bugs. I highly recommend Matt.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project is different, so my pricing does change. I do have a standard hourly rate; however, it is oftentimes better for the client to do a flat rate and I am always more than willing to negotiate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I introduce myself and tell you a bit about me and what I do. Then, I always follow up with 3 questions: What do you do? What information would you like to disseminate? Who are you trying to reach? Once I have the answers to those 3 questions, I can begin digging deeper and determining exactly what it is you need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a a B.S.C in Film and Graphic Design. It was during my undergraduate studies at the University of Miami that I learned I had a real knack and passion for design and coding. I am also a certified Apple Hardware and Software Technician with over 12 years of experience working with customers, teaching them to use products, and fixing any issues they may come across.
