FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in complete transparency when it comes to pricing. For many vacations, cruises, and all-inclusive resorts, my planning services come at no additional cost to you because I am compensated by my trusted travel partners. For more complex itineraries—such as destination weddings, multi-destination vacations, large groups, or highly customized travel—a professional planning fee may apply. If a planning fee is needed, it will always be discussed before any work begins. I also keep an eye on supplier promotions, exclusive offers, and value-added amenities to help you receive the best possible vacation within your budget. My goal is not simply to find the lowest price—it's to help you make the best investment in your travel experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every trip begins with getting to know you. 1. Complimentary Consultation Start with a phone call, email, or text conversation to discuss your destination ideas, travel style, budget, and what matters most to you. 2. Personalized Recommendations I research and prepare customized vacation options based on your preferences. Together we'll review the choices and fine-tune the details until we find the perfect fit. 3. Booking & Planning Once you've chosen your vacation, I take care of the reservations, payments, travel documents, and important deadlines so you don't have to worry about the details. 4. Ongoing Support My service doesn't end after you book. From your first consultation until you return home, I'm available to answer questions, provide travel guidance, and assist if unexpected situations arise during your trip.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed and bonded travel advisor who continually invests in professional education and industry training. I regularly complete destination specialist programs, cruise line certifications, resort training, and supplier education to stay current on the latest travel trends, promotions, and destination updates. I also participate in industry conferences, webinars, and resort education opportunities so I can provide recommendations based on current knowledge and trusted partnerships. In addition to my travel industry education, I hold an MBA with a minor in Human Resources, which has strengthened my organizational skills, customer service, and ability to manage even the most detailed travel plans.
