My review of Daniel Adamian of Product and Industrial Design: Daniel Adamian is an excellent technician. His work is top tier in both quality and application. And he fosters a good personal rapport with his clients. My experience with Mr. Adamian was 100 % positive. From initial draft of the concept through the completion, he kept me informed of the progress. That is what I appreciated most. After he was commissioned for the project, he submitted regular progress views of the project to confirm that things were proceding toward my expectations. Even after I asked for some lateral changes, he was agreeable and receptive to the alterations. He always treated the client respectfully and politely. And again, the thing that was very important to me was the communication. Even though the project by necessity took some time, as all quality things do, he never left me wondering how things were going. The final product of my boat design is incredible. He has made my simple pencil images turn into a full 3D representation of the craft. It now comes alive in virtually real, tangible images. These are images that I will be proud to utilize in my business plan and patent applications. Thumbtack should also be proud of their representative Danial Adamian and of Product and Industrial Design. He exemplifies true professionalism and expertise. This in turn brings great credit to the Thumbtack Organization. I feel very fortunate to have met Mr. Adamian utilized Thumbtack services as opposed to some other company. Keep up the great work! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the client and what they are looking for, I can do hourly work, project quotes as well as equity work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with or set up a conference call to have them explain their product and every detail about it. I like hearing in their words what's important about it and how I can be of assistance. I work with them to get their ideas ready for manufacture.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was fortunate to have known and be mentored by the VP of Design for GM, Chuck Jordan. He gave me great belief in myself and taught with his passion. He was an amazing designer.
