I had a backyard pond & statue removed. Matt and I met first to go over the job. He called to confirm he was coming at the time we had set up and arrived on time. He removed it in less time than anticipated (it was hard work as it was concrete). He went about it in a logical and methodical way and was careful not to make a giant mess in the yard, and remained mindful of the plants nearby. He made it seem so easy, I wish I had done this years ago. I learned Matt is a carpenter as well and I would definitely hire him again.
I would totally recommend Agosto for Masonry work. We hired him to put pavers in our backyard. He was very professional & thorough and delivered in time. Very friendly and reasonable.
We needed a wooden deck and concrete patio slab demolished and hauled away. Bogdan's price was excellent and his work superb. He showed up on time, communicated information clearly and timely, and was very courteous. I was especially impressed with his clean up, he hardly left a mess and took the time to make sure there were no stray bits of concrete out on the street. I was very impressed.
I recently hired AAA Concrete Designs to perform some concrete work, more specifically a paver patio, in an attempt to add value to my home. As a perfectionist, I demand nothing less than complete reliability, punctuality, and above all else, utmost professionalism. The job was completed as promised with no down payment needed whatsoever. I implore any persons that seek brick work, concrete, etc. to hire the steady hand of Mr. Tongilava and his hard working crew. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions regarding AAA Concrete Designs.
Richard helped me design and remodel some features of my home before selling. Richard has a great eye for design and is able to construct as well. Richard and his team poured a new (black) concrete driveway, built me a new lateral cedar stained fence and painted the exterior of my home navy blue. This lead to a quick sale above asking, Thanks!
Our yard was quite overgrown: weeds in the flower beds, vines growing up one of our trees and grass growing out between the concrete on our side path. We hired Quintero Landscapes to tidy things up and they did a great job. Pablo and his coworker were here most of the day and the yard looks great.
Had a small project requiring installing a concrete slab, Tui quoted a honest reasonable price for my project, he and his crew came out and finished the job in a no time. Would definitely recommend, if you need a job that needs done fast!
We were thoroughly satisfied with the concrete work done by Kris Fredrickson, Anderson Construction’s concrete contractor. Our new driveway and sidewalk look great. Kris listened to us and did his best to accommodate our wishes, going above and beyond. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others. And Mike Anderson stayed in constant communication w/us making sure that we were satisfied with how the project was proceeding.
Angel and his crew made two pillars and four below-ground concrete pylons as footing for a 4-legged gazebo to straddle a circular pavilion in my backyard. His crew also poured a 7’ x 2’ concrete slab in our side yard to function as a grill parking spot. Angel had car trouble the first day, which delayed the start of work to two days later than we had agreed on. His crew spread the work over three evenings, delaying another crew's start date for assembly of the gazebo by two days. The posted rate for Angel's work was $45/hour. When the work was finished, Angel presented me with a bill that would have charged $40 an hour for each of his crew's 5 laborers. Angel may be an engineer worth $45 an hour, but someone digging a hole for concrete does not earn $40 an hour, so we renegotiated. Angel received $45/hour, and each of his workers earned $20/hour. We declined to pay for hours when multiple workers were present, but only one of them was working, since the others were just waiting for Angel to arrive. In addition to wages and materials, we paid $150 for gas. Angel would have spent less on gas, if the work had been concentrated into fewer days, which I would have preferred. The end result is: the anchors are level. The two front pillars have air pockets as large as 0.5" h x 2.5" in the sides, indicating the cement wasn’t packed down well. (I will use filler to get a smooth surface, after which paint will be necessary to hide the filler.) The work started late, was spread over too many days, and the concrete pillars should not have the air pockets they have. On the up side, I appreciated how clean the worksite was when Angel finished. He also gave me a few expert answers to questions I had about other potential concrete projects. Angel is polite and knowledgeable. Even so, it is important to be very specific with your timeline, cost expectations, and aesthetics up front.
Kris responded promptly to my project request. And even though we decided to move forward with a wooden retaining wall, instead of a concrete wall, he offered great advice on how to improve the waterproofing and longevity of the wood wall. I appreciate his professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate to contact Kris for future home improvement projects.
Eliseo has both vision and experience. He and his team did an amazing job removing a workshop, demo of a large patio area, and digging down as the soil level was much too high around the house. Then he installed a great drainage system and poured a new concrete patio for us, with long retaining walls holding back the hill in our yard. The retaining walls were done properly, with very deep foundation and drainage behind. His team did a good job cleaning up as well. On top of all that he fixed a sprinkler that I mowed over during the corse of the project. I have many more projects in our yard that we will be bringing Eliseo back for as soon as we have some more money for it!!
I wanted to expand my driveway by 100 square feet. I talked to a few contractors and some came out and gave a bid and others blew me off. Mario was different from the rest. He set up an appointment with me for the next day and he showed up on time. He quoted me a price which I eventually accepted. We set a date for him to do the work. He called me and said he could do it a day earlier. I said great. He completed the job in two days and it looks great. His workmanship was very good. He took out 6" of dirt, put in 1-2" of gravel and pour 4-5" of concrete. He matched the expansion joints up with the existing driveway and it looks great. I would heartily recommend Mario. From my experience I would say he is honest, trustworthy with high integrity.
It was terrific working with George! He did an outstanding job on our backyard pavers, river rock and stamped concrete. He is very dependable, hard working, and detail oriented. George made this project enjoyable by providing solid communication and helping determine the design implementation. I'm happy to refer George to people who are looking for excellent value and great quality. Adam H., Livermore, CA
They were awesome! Super friendly. Quick response with messages. Amazing work, and very competitive pricing. I will definitely be hiring them again for my future concrete projects in the front yard, and also recommending to friends in need of concrete work. Thank you guys so much. ❤
David and his crew did a fine job replacing our old front sidewalk. David is easy to work with, understood immediately what we needed done. I've done minor concrete work myself when I was younger, so I know what is involved, and I was pleased with the efficiency and worksmanship. The only minor glitch was a minor lack of communication about when the last phase of the work would be completed, I would have appreciated an extra phone call or e-mail when David got delayed. Still, I'll be contacting David if we need concrete or landscaping work in the future.
DSP is proud and confident in the work that they do and I am here to confirm the quality of their work. Danny showed patience as he explained the benefits of having a new polished concrete floor and my many options over maintaining carpeted floors. Good customer service. Very professional! I recommend Diamondstar Polishers.
Bo and Rie Ma2 Concrete have been amazing to work with. They are professional, punctual and have a high quality of work and attention to detail. I have used him on several of my projects and he has been competitively priced and can do something as simple as a walkway to an entire hardscape backyard. I would definitely recommend him for any concrete project.
Mostly good work, slightly dissappointd that wood edge keeping the new asphalt in place has a gap where they were a few inches short of the PT wood backing edge. later, in rains this small area will begin to break up for lack of solid edge. Otherwise, Job is well done, and the cost was 30% above other estimates.. But the vendor seemed knowledgable, was punctual, and did 95% as agreed. I would recommend, and verify after the completion.
Roy Spulding was outstanding! he was very responsive and professional in our initial contacts, provided a bid that was between $1300 and $2300 LOWER than others and, with his assistant, Brian, did a superb job. Everything was as promised in terms of timeliness and quality and Roy was charming and appreciative.
Felix responded promptly and professionally to my project request. While we ultimately decided to move forward with a wooden retaining wall, instead of a concrete wall, I appreciate his swift response and consideration for my project.
AK concrete and landscaping did a great job on my block retaining wall and stump removal. The owner, "Lucky" as he likes to be called, goes out of his way to make the experience easy, expeditious and works well within the budget of his customers. He is extremely conscientious, honest and personable. I really enjoyed working with him.
