FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
PRICING: I offer the best prices and the highest quality work, backed by guarantees. I will work with you to find a pricing that will be attractive, affordable, and worthwhile to both parties. If you find a better price elsewhere, I will attempt to price-match it or beat it, so talk to me before you make your final decision. Generally I will quote you a flat rate for the work description so that you can be assured that you are within budget and that you get the highest quality product that money can buy. The quote you receive through my standard response to your request is tentative, and it can change depending on circumstances, the venue, and the scope of work, which we will work to ascertain and confirm. Except for studio photography, a deposit is necessary to reserve a booking that involves event photography, videography, or traveling. QUALITY & SERVICE GUARANTEE, TERMS & CONDITIONS: Generally speaking, if you are not satisfied with our service or product for a good reason, we can offer partial to full refund options, up to the amount you actually paid with details to be discussed. If you are not satisfied with the photographs or videos that I take, I will first do everything I can to ensure you are satisfied; if not, then, in exchange for leaving no reviews, I will offer a 100% money-back guarantee for studio photography, and up to a 50% refund on travel/event photography. In the event of force majeure or due to unforeseeable circumstances, a 100% refund will be offered for no-show or non-delivery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I figure out what you want and then try to give you what you want. We figure out a price we both find acceptable and then I get the job done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To me, the kind of work I do is an art form and I aim to achieve the highest form of the art. I have taken formal photography classes, art and architectural history classes, developed film negatives, worked with black and white photos, color photos, and digital photos. Additionally, I have watched tons of movies and frequented art museums in many states and different countries. When I take pictures or record videos, there is a sheer catalog of human photography and motion picture that I draw inspiration from that gives me an intuitive, artistic sense of what makes a picture or a video look good.
