I contacted Jaime to DJ for my grand opening party for my new business. He met up at my shop to view the place and give me ideas of where to place him, speakers, along with pricing, etc. The job was for 3 hours.
He arrived a couple hours before my event to set-up. He was able to work in the tight space (he had a corner, about 4 ft by 3ft) and decided to place the speaker on the floor near him (something he said he doesn't usually do because of the way the sound amplifies but because my space was small it worked well). He even asked what he should wear, something I didn't think about.
As soon as it hit 5 o'clock he started playing music. He was doing all his fancy dj moves and about 30 min. in he asked if it was too loud (my shop is about 600 sq ft), I liked that he kinda kept me in the loop.
The songs he selected were really good, I didn't have a list for him and allowed him free range - just no country & no rap. All night long I received a TON of compliments, people didn't want to disturb him to compliment him! He was the first person/thing you see when you walked in and I felt like he was grabbing people off the street. It really set the tone for the evening and everyone had a great time, it was very entertaining.
He even shared that he was DJing at my party on his social media outlets, again I did not expect that but I appreciated it. He was there for a little over 3 hours and had a huge smile the whole time. Nobody felt uncomfortable with him there. Even though my party ended at 8:30 pm he waited around a bit for me to handle things before I could close out with him.
My only suggestion would be to make sure you have a lot of ice cold water for him because he doesn't stop!

We hired Jaime DJ's Services for our New Year's Eve party at our house with 30+ guests. We received lots of compliments from our guests. We asked him to stay an extra hour because everyone was having so much fun. We also used him this last month for a large 100+ guests birthday party at The Elk's Ballroom. He was excellent at picking music for the crowd that ranged age 22-57. He also brought some cool lighting to help with the decor atmosphere. At both parties he had everyone dancing their feet off. We will definitely continue to book him for our future events. Even our birthday party planner said she will recommend his services for other clients.

During the scheduling of our 30th Wedding Anniversary we were introduced by a close friend to contact Jaime (DJ Big J) for our party. He was very courteous over the phone and helpful with arranging the DJ services for the event. On the day of the event, Jaime showed up early to set up and ensure the music was playing before the guests arrived. Jaime was professional the whole night and made sure the guest were aware of activities throughout the event. The party was a huge success and everyone really enjoyed the music selections. I would recommend Jaime (DJ Big J) without hesitation for any event. Such a great guy and very talented DJ!
