Three things - Experience, Attention to detail and Cleanliness. My prices may be a little more than the other guy, but I don't rush the installation in order to finish faster and get on to the next job. With over 30 years in the business I have used most products out there and I have found the best ones to install the tile in order to get the best installation. I do the jobs myself and sometimes have a helper, I do not send out crews to do jobs for me like the bigger companies.
Every job is a little different, I like the creativity and the challenges that come with every installation.

Paul just completed the installation of almost 1100 square feet of 8 X 24 faux wood tiles in the downstairs of our home. The job he did was fantastic. He has such attention to detail in ensuring that the flooring is level and the tiles are even. We searched all over to find an installer that was more about the finishes that about getting the job done fast. He is a one man crew and he lays each and every tile himself. It was quite a pleasure to have him in our home both as an installer and even more as an individual. He is a great guy and we will be having him do some more work in our home before the holidays. This review has been long overdue. Paul came out in the summer of 2013 to have our porcelain tile install. His rates were very competitive compare to the others. Paul Bonaldi is a easy person to work with. He is very professional and his work is the best. We get compliments every time we have people over. I would highly recommend him!!!

I hired Paul to tile my entire house - 2800 sq ft - with a wood looking ceramic tile (from demo to completion). His attention to detail exceeded my expectation. He was reliable, friendly, and pleasant to have around throughout this project. I took a vacation in the middle of the project and felt extremely comfortable giving him a key to the house so he could continue the job in my absence. I highly recommend Paul for all projects - large or small.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price may be a little higher than the other guy, but I do extra work on most jobs to make sure it comes out the best possible so that the customer is happy with the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we determine what type of tile will be used.
Second, we see if any prep is needed, in most cases we do need to install an underlayment or a crack isolation and that will effect the scope of work.
Third, after we know the above, I can estimate a price and proceed to scheduling the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did some traveling to Italy and was able to see how they make good quality ceramic & porcelain tile. Also, I constantly keep up with new products that improve the installation of tile.
