FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different. Depending on the scale of the project, the client needs, their budget, the timeline, etc - all factor into the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to have a phone call meeting or a detailed description of what is needed for the project. In this I like to understand the clients objectives for the project, who their audience, what their due date and budget limitations are. Then I write out a detailed proposal outlining milestone dates, what items I will be delivering, and estimated cost. Depending on the project and bits involved, I usually like to give two pricing package options with various degrees of work. The client will than choose and option and sign off on the proposal and send a 50% deposit to start the project. Then I move into the concept phase. This is where I spend the time researching on the competition, how I can make the client stand out and attract the audience they need/want. I do initial sketches, mood boards, and if the project calls for it example layouts. I usually give at least 2 creative concepts to choose from. After the concept is chosen then I get to work implementing all the parts and pieces to make it into an amazing design.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my BA in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I also have worked with some major Fortune 500 companies and small businesses on the design front. I'm known for 'pushing the envelope' right off the table.
