Introduction: Since I moved to Encinitas from NY, Iv'e since fell in love with film & photography. Over the years I've taught myself to capture life's most precious moments through my lenses. After working multiple spectacular weddings, engagements, bridal showers, music events, and more I can say easily say that I LOVE what I get to do. My husband and I decided to take last minute family pictures and Darryl booked us right away. He made the experience, our first experience, with photography absolutely PERFECT. Darryl truly sets the standard for the hospitality that should be given in the environment surrounding photography. He was so kind and energetic during our shoot and patient with us as well when the weather kept failing us. I highly recommend booking your next shoot with him whatever the event may be! We are in love with the quality of our photos.

Darryl was a great photographer for our Wedding. He worked well with us and checking off the photo list we provided him with. We had the picture proofs quickly and he also provided a thumb drive with all raw photos upon request. The Bride and Groom were very comfortable with Darryl and the directions he gave. Darryl is very easy to communicate with, he is very reliable and respectful. He has a great team that works with him and together they were able to captures several angles for our photos. We meet with him on several occasions to discuss our package and to walk through the event site prior to event. Darryl can offer many options, ask him about video and drones too. Absolutely in love with the work from Film Diego! He went above and beyond to make this a special moment. Took the time to find the perfect spot, visited the site a few times prior, and I could not be happier! If you know how hard it is to take a picture of a baby, imagine TWO. He was patient even when the babies were fussy. Not to mention got the pictures edited back in a timely fashion. Will 100% be returning for all my photos needs!

Diego was very responsive and helpful in planning the video and live stream for my husband’s memorial. He explained the process clearly, went over details thoroughly, and was prompt in responding to any questions I had. Diego was prompt in arriving early to the event and set up quickly. His equipment was not intrusive and he captured every moment of our memorial. Diego and his staff were friendly and respectful and delivered a quality video at a very reasonable price. I studied animation for a few years out of the Ai Institute in Florida, which eventually drove me to photography, and film production.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started with an artist/singer of mine 10 years ago, filming and shooting him. Over the years my hobby turned into a skill.
