About
YNK Construction is a licensed design-build contractor focused on full home remodels, additions, and ADUs.
We handle planning, layout, material selection, permitting, and construction under one scope so the project is defined before work begins.
Most remodeling issues come from unclear plans and shifting decisions. We solve that upfront.
We take on projects where multiple trades need to be coordinated properly, including kitchens, bathrooms, home expansions, and whole-home renovations.
If you’re early in the process, we’ll help you understand scope and budget. If you already have plans, we’ll review them before construction starts.

What a stark contrast compared to dealing with most GCs and construction companies. I had a bit of an oddball project in removing some rafter ties and subsequently altering the roof support, but the team at YNK showed up and addressed the problem with enthusiasm and eagerness. Every person that I met on their team was courteous and willing to help. Most companies I called for a quote brushed me off or refused the job for being too small. Their communication during the project was clear and timely, and I never had to micromanage them. Overall fantastic experience with them, and I won't hesitate to call YNK again. Thank you YNK!

Yan and Luis, the owners, were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and always centered around identifying what the work needed and understanding what I wanted. I needed a corner post of an enclosed sunroom replaced due to water damage at its base from a hidden leak from the nearby window. They also replaced one wooden panel that had been removed for the work, and drywalled another larger wall. They identified the problem correctly the first time, did not try to offer just a "patch job" as some contractors had. They also made sure to repair the wall where the rain water had gotten in, and made it water tight.
They offered a reasonable price for the work as compared to others. At all time the Luis and his crew were hardworking, polite and handled my questions and concerns with courtesy and patience. Luis and the most experienced members of the crew also took extra time to consider the best options for replacing the corner 4x4 post, given previous owners had done a poor job, and took extra time looking for materials and replacement panels for an outdated wall paneling that had been removed before they took the job. They also worked with me some on the prices of problem areas that came up during the work When I observed the quality of their work, I added on some work too, requiring interior painting and outside stucco repair of a few cracks. They were very tolerant of the fact that I live in a Senior Community with an HOA that required a permit from the city. We had to reschedule because of a delay in obtaining the required paperwork to satisfy the HOA. Overall, I am very pleased with their work, and plan on using them again in the near future on another project I have. Their crew was also professional and punctual during their work here.

Working with Yan and his team at YNK has been a very positive experience. It was my first time remodeling a condo and without their help, knowledge and expertise it would not have been possible. They replace the kitchen countertops, installed new windows and a HVAC system, replace my bathroom vanity, etc… The communication with Yan was excellent; Luis went above and beyond to help make the process as smooth and easy as possible. And above all their work was done on time. YNK team was professional, reliable and courteous. I am very pleased with the remodeling and would highly recommend their services.

I had the pleasure of working with YKN for a guest bathroom remodel after water damage from a recent floodand I couldnt be happier with the results. From start to finish, Yan and Luis were honest, professional, and incredibly accommodating. I originally found them on Facebook during a stressful time when I needed a reliable contractor fast, and from the first interaction, I knew they were the right choice. They handled everything: drywall, tiling, the tub, vanity, baseboards, painting, and all the finishing touches that really brought the space together. Not only did they do top-notch work, but they also worked around my hectic schedule without ever compromising quality. The bathroom turned out absolutely beautifulsomething Im truly proud to show off to guests. I deeply appreciate the hard work and integrity these guys brought to the job.If youre looking for trustworthy, skilled, and hardworking contractors who deliver excellent results, I highly recommend YKN.Thank you again, Yan and Luis!

I had an excellent experience working with Yan & his team for the building of my ADU/office. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and incredibly communicative. I always knew what stage the project was in, and they were quick to answer questions, explain details, and keep me updated every step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and detail-oriented contractor.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies from project to project. we need to assess each project individually to prepare an official proposal for a client.
For preliminary inquiry's and homeowners who are still early in the process we typically provide rough estimations based on our initial conversation/call. that way they can better prepare and adjust their needs and wants accordingly.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical work flow when a customer is interested in working together consists of a initial consultation, which we do via zoom/video call to get as much details as possible about the project and go over the clients needs.
The next step is to schedule a time for one of our team members to come by the property to take measurements and go over any details we may have missed.
Once completed, we prepare a preliminary proposal for the client to review, and make any changes needed until we reach the desired goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team of experts share decades of experience in all construction related trades, from electricians, plumbers, framers etc. We aim to perform every part of any project to the highest standard to make sure the end result is at the highest level as it can be.
