- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into the business for the most part because my father was a pianist, arranger, conductor and A&R executive at DOT Records from the 50's through the early 70's. Music was always in our home and from a very early age I began playing a number of musical instruments.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common event I do is as a DJ/MC for a wedding.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
On the DJ side of my business, I believe it's important for customers to look for extensive experience, a comprehensive knowledge of music and the interaction of people (human behavior) and professional equipment including backup contingencies.
