I have worked with Jim for a couple years and highly recommend him. Jim is very diverse in style and can accommodate any look you are going for. I've had many lifestyle themed photo shoots and my expectations have been exceeded every time when working with him. He caters to almost any situation in an efficient and effective manner and is very adaptable to the environment even if the lighting might be poor outside/inside where the photo shoot might be taking place as he is prepared with different flashes and lens for that. Also, if you're worried about posing or run out of ideas, he is very creative and helpful in offering some awesome options/alternatives as well to prepare you too. He is very direct and organized in scheduling times and will work around your schedule to accommodate your needs. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of the his work. I plan to continue working with him in the future

We have worked with Jim for many years with studio product photography on models . Jim is not only a great photographer, but his photo shoots are always very organized. He is extremely reliable. He is excellent at photoshop, retouching, and organizing digital files.

Great pictures! Most of the pictures that were taken didn't need any editing. We really enjoyed the photo shoot. He definitely portrayed "us" in the pictures he took for our engagement shoot!

It was a pleasure working with Jim from Shick Photography. We wanted to do a photo shoot for our son to celebrate his upcoming graduation. Jim meet us at Old Poway Park in Poway. He was there early and had already scouted the area. He has good good eye for locations and we took plenty of photos. Our photo shoot was on Sunday and we received the proofs by Wednesday of that week. We were quite pleased on how the photos turned out and plan to use Shick Photography for our family photos in the near future.
