FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different. After consulting with you, I provide a detailed proposal outlining the work I will undertake on your behalf, establish milestones to meet, an estimate of hours involved, and provide you with pricing for the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an in-house consultation where I learn about your objectives and timing. I review print photos, slides, home movies and videos, then take an inventory of total assets involved. I also rate the condition of the items. Then back at the office I develop a detailed proposal, which I send to you. If it meets your requirements, you sign the contract, pay a deposit and I'm ready to get started. I'm available to you by phone, email and IM during business hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in the field of corporate communications for 30 years. During that time I worked with historical photographs and slides, corporate documents, artifacts and memorabilia. WIth these assets, I created presentations, slide shows, videos, magazine articles, and content for websites. I am a member of The Photo Managers (TPM), an international organization devoted to training and supporting professional managers of photo, slide, movie, and video collections. After successful completion of a certification program with TPM, I was designated a "certified professional photo manager" in October 2022.
