- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing work for the Oil companies. Chevron oil , FMOG, Oxy, Linn energy. Oilfield maintenance. I worked in Oil plants, Water plants, Refineries, Cogens, Gas plants, Steam plants. I've painting gas plants from start to finish. Starting with the underground pipelines to all the Tanks, Vessels and piping above ground. I painted the control rooms. The concrete floors around the control rooms. As welders made it, I followed painting everything. I had a lay down yard where I sandblasted and coated everything. I also sandblasted and coated the inside of water/oil tanks. I used the best paint/coating they make. I have my Osha 10, Osha 30, Confined Space training, Safety training, CPR, Forklift/Manlift training. I'm in process now getting my C33. California Contractors Intelligence School.
