- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
While price is important, be sure that your are going to be provided with the result you want and nothing less. Don't do anything without a written estimate. Make sure the company you are hiring has an up to date, valid license. In the case of computer repair, they are required to have a BEAR license (from the Bureau of Appliance and Electronics Repair). There are many companies that take advantage of customers' lack of knowledge about services they provide. We've all heard or voiced fears of going to an auto mechanic and being told that we need an entire new transmission when all we truly need is something that costs less than ten dollars and fifteen minutes to change the part.
