FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very simple. Its all inclusive. There are no upgrades because its already in the package. the only time a price increases is by overtime or extensive drive time of over an hour.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I sort of fell into it actually. I started 25 years ago as an actor and dancer, and had another company called Silent Reaction Entertainment. Here I taught models how to walk and pose. We also did dance where I was lucky enough to work with Michael Jackson in Captain EO in Disneyland. From there I began doing karaoke where I became a karaoke host for almost 15 years. (yes, i still sing when I can.) The transition from karaoke to DJ was pretty smooth, and for the last 20 plus years i have been working as a wedding DJ and hope to continue for another 20 years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Though I am technically a DJ, due to my attention to detail I also become a wedding coordinator as well. I make sure every detail is taken care of so the bride and groom does nothing but sit back and enjoy their special day. But as the DJ, I make sure that all the music is ready and available. That we have the grand entrance line up ready to go and in the right order. that the first dance, toast, meal, father-daughter mother-son dances, bouquet and garter toss, and last dance and song are all in the proper order and pace. that the photographer and videographer are in position for every shot. that the meal is ready to be served, or the buffet is done efficiently. I want to make sure everything is covered. So i sometimes go above and beyond... lol
