Words cannot describe the beauty of Jackie's work. As an event producer, after hiring her to do florals for 10+ corporate events (for big brands like HP, Patron, etc) I was so in love that I then hired her to do my wedding! I've worked with florists across the country and can say that her work stands out beyond them all. I'd bring her around the globe to do all my events if I could. Plus - she's one of the loveliest humans around! So sweet, respectful, and quick to respond! She never left me hanging and has always gone above and beyond. Hire Jackie now.

Jackie was the florist for my wedding in August and I cannot say enough about how great she was to work with. She is creative, kind, has a fantastic eye for color and composition (her background definitely contributed to super photogenic arrangements), and was able to work within our tight budget to put together gorgeous, lush arrangements, including garlands for the tables, a unique wreath for the welcome table, and a seriously killer bouquet for me. I would describe her floral style as romantic, organic, and relaxed. She is super responsive by email/text/phone, great to collaborate with, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was what we wanted. Jackie is just the best!

Jackie did the flowers for our wedding in April, 2014. We had a ceremony and a reception dinner/party at a restaurant downtown NYC, and our themes were "springtime, evening, romantic, and simple". Jackie did an amazing job! I had met with a couple of other florists before meeting with Jackie, and she was a breath of fresh air. She was very organized, receptive, and extremely knowledgeable. We talked about the theme, mood and budget. Then she followed up with a perfect proposal. She kept in touch with me through all of the planning. She was easy to work with regarding specifics that I wanted and great at taking the lead on the details. I could not have been happier with the bouquets and all of the arrangements she put together. Jackie is talented at what she does and a joy to work with. I feel lucky to have met her before my wedding!

Working with Jackie at Darlington Flowers was a highlight during my wedding planning. She was beyond reliable, quickly returning emails and making fabulous suggestions that helped me figure out my vision for my wedding day. She constructed beautiful garlands that graced my wedding arbor, gorgeous bouquets for myself and wedding party, all of the boutiners for my husband and his groomsman, flowers for the aisle, special pieces for our family, all of the centerpieces, cake topper and one of my favorites.... A floral crown that I wore walking down the aisle! It was breathtaking and the ambience she created was unforgettable as I am still constantly receiving compliments on it all. Really though, the most memorable part about it all was Jackie and her personality.. Her relaxed but assuring demeanor made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel like you were getting together with a friend to chat about your day. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever possible, I like to meet clients in person so that we can be more comfortable with each other and really be able to talk through details. Once initial details are figured out, I send a draft of the proposal and then we fine-tune the details from there. I take pride on giving clients their vision within a reasonable budget - it's about what they want!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After spending a fews years making floral arrangements for a salon I managed, I suddenly found myself booking a handful of weddings and that was the start of DARLINGTON.
What types of customers have you worked with?
