FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $15 per notarized signature, plus a travel fee starting at $40 depending on the location. For more involved services—such as jail notarizations, loan signings, and estate planning—I offer flat-rate pricing based on the time and number of documents. I also offer occasional discounts for multiple signers or large document packages. I’m always happy to provide a clear quote upfront so there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by asking a few key questions to understand what type of document needs notarizing and if any witnesses are required. Once we confirm the details, I schedule a convenient time and location for the appointment. I always arrive on time, verify ID, and guide the signer through each step to ensure everything is completed properly. My goal is to make the process smooth, stress-free, and professional from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a commissioned Notary Public in the state of California, background screened, and certified by the National Notary Association (NNA). I’ve completed specialized training in loan signings, estate planning documents, and jail notarizations. I stay current on notary laws and best practices through continuing education to ensure every signing is handled accurately and legally.
