My AC died a couple weeks ago. The system was over 30 years old, came with the house when I bought it. In this heat it was a nightmare. Alex came out, did a 3D scan and load calculation, and showed me which rooms were always hot and why. Picked the right equipment for the house. Crew came the next day. Wore shoe covers, kept everything clean, no mess. Super professional. House feels great now 👍🏼

Decided to update the HVAC in my Glendale house. The main issue was one of the back rooms it never cooled down properly in summer and stayed colder than the rest of the house in winter. The other rooms were fine, just that one was always off.Got quotes from a few companies. Cold Cloud stood out right away. Their tech Alex showed up with a 3D scanner and did a full heat load calculation for every room. Showed me the airflow numbers on the spot and explained that the back room wasn't getting enough CFM because the duct was undersized. That's why it was always lagging behind the rest of the house.The other contractors didn't ask anything beyond square footage. Not sure how they were even planning to size the system.Cold Cloud actually knows what they're doing. Real math. They installed a Daikin FIT system and helped me get $4,000 back through the LADWP rebate. Really happy with how it turned out.

Cold Cloud Mechanical replaced my old furnace with a Daikin 17.5 SEER2 heat pump. This is hands down, the dream HVAC contractor I have ever found and worked with. Thanks to Daikin's Comfort Pro contractors list where I found Cold Cloud Mechanical! It started with Alex who came out on a Saturday late afternoon for an estimate. With Alex's engineering background, the Heat pump system was designed perfectly from the get-go. The complete transparency in pricing, scope of work, time frame and contract/warranty terms are so compelling that I signed the contract right away. This was followed by Peter's pre-installation visit (unheard of from all my previous HVAC installation experiences). Peter's brilliant idea of using an adjustable metal stand allows full compliance with local codes without additional cost of a new concrete slab.The installation team with clear instructions from Peter was simply amazing! They paid so much attention to details and really took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and professionally.
