- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Parties are $95.00/hr per artist. If outside of Santa Barbara there will be travel charges. Bridal henna starts at $250.00 Private henna at my home studio is $80.00/hr
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During your appointment: Expect to have insane amounts of fun! This is your time! Enjoy it! It is also a great time to sit back and relax! Breathe in the soothing smells of the henna and essential oils. These oils are added not only for a killer henna stain but also to relax the nerves. Process: I will clean the skin with an alcohol wipe. Apply the henna in super cool awesome patterns. Let the henna sit on your skin and dry for about 30-40 mins after the application is compete. During this time the henna is drying. Afterwards, I will apply a sealant ( made from concentrated lemon juice and sugar). This helps the henna to stick to your body. We want the henna to sit on your skin for 4-8 hours to allow it to sink deeper into your skin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes of course! Practice practice and practice. I also keep in touch with other artist and plan on attending an annual henna intensive 3 day course!
