- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge hourly for my initial consult. I usually charge $150 hour. If you choose to have me design a room. I usually charge between $2000-5000 per room. That includes everything. Selecting furniture, window coverings, fabrics, accessories, art, rug. If needed I will have my architect create the room on paper. I will provide you with a spec sheet with all your products needed and color palette.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting typically takes place at your home. This meeting usually takes 2-3 hours. I will walk through your home, room by room to get a sense of the space, lighting, and existing furniture and fixtures. As I am moving from room to room, I will ask lots of questions, and I welcome your input on what you would like to see, what your preferences are, and what your budget is. I will write very detailed notes at this stage and leave your home with a good sense of what you are looking to achieve.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Interior Design from the FIDER accredited Interior Designers Institute, rated one of the top Design Schools. Prior to design school, I studied marketing at the University of Colorado. Rosenmayr Interiors was established i 1998 afters years of education in the fields of business, sales, design and real estate. I initially followed in my fathers footsteps and received my California real estate license in 1984 and my Real Estate Brokers license in 1998. I keep my brokers license active under Dawn Rosenmayr Real Estate.
