Hi, I’m Jason Hidalgo, a professional personal trainer serving the South Bay for over 10 years.

There are three of us in my family currently being trained by Jason, and soon, it might be the whole family!
I was the first to start. At 58, I had begun noticing a decline in my muscle mass—my arms, legs, and even my neck looked and felt scrawnier. It was unsettling. As someone who spends all day working on a computer, I worried about the long-term degenerative effects of such a sedentary lifestyle. A coworker of mine, who’s older than me and recently had a heart attack, had been working with Jason to recover and maintain his strength. That made me think: *Why wait for something serious to happen before taking action?* So, I signed up for Jason’s group kettlebell class.
Right away, I appreciated Jason’s down-to-earth and friendly personality. He took the time to evaluate my fitness level and taught me how to safely swing a kettlebell. I did well in the class, and it was a lot of fun, so I decided to join the weekly group sessions. Five months in, I’ve noticed a significant return of my muscle mass and an overall improvement in my fitness. Jason’s classes are challenging but well-structured—he emphasizes proper form, uses the right amount of weight to push us, and carefully plans repetitions and sets. I’ve even started practicing the exercises at home on my own, which shows how much his training has motivated me.
Next is my 14-year-old son. Like many teenagers, he was glued to his computer and resisted any kind of physical activity. I introduced him to Jason, hoping it would help—and it did! Jason trains him privately once a week with a varied circuit of exercises. It’s been five months, and my son hasn’t rebelled—which is a win in itself! He’s also gotten noticeably stronger. When he started, he could barely do one push-up, but recently, during a challenge with friends, he managed 27 push-ups in a row!. I’ve even noticed him instinctively using proper squat form to pick things up off the floor instead of bending his back. I’m confident Jason’s training will keep my son fit and healthy, and I hope it will eventually inspire him to exercise on his own.
Then there’s my 24-year-old daughter, a licensed physical therapist. When I showed her photos of my son’s workouts with Jason, she was impressed. Despite her knowledge of exercise and rehabilitation, she admitted she lacked the motivation to work out on her own. Based on my and my son’s positive experiences, she decided to sign up with Jason for two private sessions a week. She says Jason’s ability to motivate and tailor workouts to her needs has made all the difference, and she’s convinced that he’s the real deal.
Lastly, my wife, who already has a free personal trainer at work, observed my daughter during one of her sessions with Jason. She was so impressed by Jason’s training style and personality that she’s now considering signing up with him too. Soon, it looks like our entire family will be part of Team Jason!

Jason is the best trainer I’ve worked with. He has just the right mix of motivating you and pushing you to do better without being overbearing. I’ve been training with Jason for 3 years. I’m a middle aged mom of 3 with an all day desk job. I had bad neck and back pain and my physical therapist (PT) said I needed to strengthen my core. I made more progress in 4 weeks of training with Jason than I had in 4 months of PT. My pain is gone and Jason is amazing at adjusting movements or giving verbal cues to help accommodate where I’m at. I’ve lost weight, got more toned, and am much stronger than when I first started. I now bring my son to train with Jason and he is learning foundational movements and proper form which has helped reduce injury and improve his baseball performance.

Jason is an incredible trainer! He helped me regain confidence in trusting my body! After shoulder surgery and stubborn back pain, I was very nervous to even look at weights & was very hesitant about movements that felt “off” or scary to me. Every week Jason helped me get past those fears and I started to see so much progress in movement & strength. A big plus for me is that the sessions are short and sweet and I always feel so much better after. Lastly, I love that the workout are very functional and intended to help you with real life movements. Couldn’t recommend him enough! :)

Jason is an amazing trainer that not only focuses on getting you stronger but also explains every movement and how it works different muscles. He is also very professional and takes the time to make sure you have correct form to prevent any injuries. I have gotten so much stronger and in a safe way by working with Jason.

I've been working out with Jason a little over 2 years and he has helped me improve my strength and mobility greatly.
