FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was offered the opportunity to do a pet sitting job for a neighbor as a young child. My dad and I went daily for a week to care for their dog. I continued to sit for neighbors and friends and finally went "Professional" after I graduated and was hired as a vet tech. I continued to pet sit while I worked. I chose to make this my primary source of income upon moving to Riverside County.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please research your pet care options and know what is available to you, for your needs. This saves us both a lot of time,as the more specific we can be in our initial phone conversation, the better prepared I am when coming in to do the interview prior to starting a job. All the information you need to start your assessment of my services are available on my web site.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I love what I do and choose to do it full time because I feel any less is not providing the kind of quality pet care I want to be able to offer. I charge based on the amount of time a job takes and how complex it is. Factor in to that the number missed meals, time lost with family and friends, missed Holidays or events, and little or no off time, plus the courses we take to improve our knowledge and skills, and the expense we go to, to provide you with proper protection, so that you can go away and not have to worry about your pets and home, knowing they are in good hands.
