TWO CARS - OUTSTANDING WORK!! This was my first time to use Thumbtack for mobile auto repair. I was a bit hesitant at first but after reading Twin E's reviews, decided to give them a shot. We hired Twin E Auto to replace front and rear brakes on my daughter's 1999 MBZ E320. Alex was very professional and responded promptly to my questions. He did a fantastic job. I supplied all the parts (pads and rotors) and we discovered that the aftermarket front wheels that were on the car when we bought it were rubbing on the caliper after the install. Alex spent tons of extra time trying to pinpoint the problem. He went out of his way late that evening to get a different set of pads from the parts store and still the wheels were rubbing. He spent even more time meticulously trying to pinpoint the root cause. We later discovered that this is a common problem with aftermarket wheels on this model and the only resolve is to file down the top of the caliper by just a few mm's where it was rubbing. He spent approximately 2 - 3 hours MORE making sure the wheels cleared. He did not have to do that but it is a testament to his dedication and customer service and quality of work. The same day, he replaced a transimisson oil cooler and spark plugs on my 2016 BMW 335i xDrive Gran Tourismo. Super clean work and he cleared the check engine light. Both cars are running great with no issues at all. I highly recommend Alex for all your auto repair needs.

My day was off to a bad start when my car wouldn’t turn on. Being a Sunday, I decided to try a new service and that was to get a mobile mechanic to my place. I had a great experience with Alex. He came directly to my home and replaced the alternator on my car quickly and professionally. He was on time, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly before starting the repair. When the alternator I had ordered turned out to be the wrong one, Alex went out of his way to go to the store and purchase the correct part so the job could be completed the same day.
