Jeff Wilder is a remarkably talented musician and a very gifted piano teacher!
Although I have taken intermittent piano lessons throughout my adult life,
I have never gotten very far. (Guilty as charged, I never really practiced. Lol. )
But my experience with Jeff over the years has been markedly different than with the other teachers I had. Jeff’s insightful teaching skills, coupled with his patience and kindness, have motivated and inspired me greatly. So much so that, not only am I playing well, I have continued taking lessons from Jeff for over 2 years.
I have no intention of ever stopping—Jeff is that great of a teacher!
I go home with a piano video that Jeff has made for me after every lesson—whatever challenging piece we were working on that week, he brilliantly breaks it down. I never feel lost anymore sitting at home on my piano bench trying to remember what I had learned. I now possess brilliant video clips that are like gold to me during practice times.
By the way, there are grade school kids studying piano under Jeff. They arrive before and after my lesson and intimidate the hell out of this grown adult, because they are that good!

I walked in for a guitar lesson, carrying a small batch of enthusiasm. When I stated that my passion might be lacking, Jeff was entirely on board for my insta switch to keyboard. I left that lesson and went straight to store to buy a keyboard of my own. I am now actually making music!

I appreciate the fact that I can stay with my daughter during her lesson. Mr. Wilder has a diverse knowledge of musical instruments. He is passionate about teaching his students how to play an instrument and being able to read the music.

I acquired Jeff's services through a friend. His daughter went on to perform amazing pieces of music. My son was toying around with learning how to play guitar. He had no passion for it. After a month or two, he felt like quitting. Both Jeff and I encouraged him to keep practicing and after the 5th and 6th month he started to play at home on his own accord. I'm proud to say my son has started his own music group along with his best friend. I don't know if music instruments are for everyone but what I do know is that my child could not play a single chord before meeting Jeff and now he's performing at parties for strangers as well as family functions. Most importantly, he's developed a passion for it. A passion developed in Jeff's incubator. I have enrolled my daughter in Piano. It's early in the process, but I know as long as she's with Jeff, she'll continue to gain confidence and skill. Jeff is the real deal, and the price point can't be beaten. If you are serious about having your child learn a classical instrument, he is the teacher to do just that. Without question, it's been one of the best decisions I've made.
