We reached out to Ivan on Thumbtack when another service provider bailed on us the night before we had to clear more than 5 tons of concrete and pavers out of the way before our new decomposed granite arrived literally the next day. Ivan provided a rate sheet for full transparency of how we charges and asked questions about the project to make sure that we would not have any surprises. Not only that, but he knew that we had a sense of urgency and so did he, which was great. He got in his vehicle and headed our way within two hours of our connecting. He did two dump runs that night! And even came back for a third run that we didn’t think we needed the following day. He provided documentation of the weight that he dumped, and didn’t charge us until he completed the job. There was trust both ways. He was respectful of our family and two little girls. He wanted us to feel very confident that he was doing all of the work and didn’t want to impose on us at all. He parked safely in our neighborhood with orange cones and all. He was a wonderful hardworking man. We will use him again.
