Cannot say enough good things about Alex and his team. They are so professional. When you call for a quote they are so fast and pricing is very reasonable. They are also very flexible with scheduling and ideas. I have used this company for multiple projects at our house and also my mother in law's. I would recommend them to anyone. They have made my backyard and front yard look like new. They do irrigation, concrete, turf, pavers and so much more. They will work with you until you are happy with the job. Definitely recommend them.

We just had our backyard completely transformed , new pavers and artificialturfinstalled and I honestly can’t believe how fast and professional the whole process was. The entire project was finished in just 4 days, and the quality is unreal. I’ve worked with a lot of contractors before, but I’ve never seen a crew move this efficiently while still keeping everything clean, organized, and precise.
Alex, our project manager, and Joshua were phenomenal. They clearly know their craft inside and out. from the first meeting they explained every detail, gave honest suggestions, and kept us updated daily. You can tell they’ve been in this business for a long time because everything ran like clockwork . no delays, no excuses, just hard work and amazing results.
The backyard looks completely new . clean lines, perfect leveling, and the turf feels so natural. They even made sure every small detail was done right before leaving. It’s rare to find a team that combines speed, professionalism, and true craftsmanship like this one.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing job by BetterYard Construction!
We just finished a huge project with BetterYard Construction — full front and backyard makeover with pavers, concrete, artificialturf, drainage, a retaining wall, and an outdoor kitchen. Total was around $280k, and they finished everything in just 6 weeks, which is pretty incredible for how much work was done.
From day one, Alex and James were on top of everything — super professional, responsive, and made the whole process stress-free. They checked in constantly, coordinated every step, and made sure everything came out perfect. You can tell they actually care about the details and take pride in what they do.
The crew was awesome too — very skilled, fast, and clean. Every part of the job came out better than expected. The pavers are perfectly leveled, turf looks natural, drainage works flawlessly, and the outdoor kitchen turned out amazing — exactly how I pictured it.

I recently hired BetterYard Construction to pour approximately 3,500 square feet of concrete in my backyard, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

We take a 10% deposit to secure the project, and then break the rest into clear progress payments. We don’t add hidden fees—only additional work requested outside of the signed contract would affect the price. We also offer occasional seasonal promotions and senior discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a free consultation where we listen to your vision, measure the space, and discuss options. We then provide a detailed written estimate. Once approved, we handle permits (if required), schedule the project, and assign a dedicated project manager. During installation, we keep you updated daily, and we do a final walkthrough to make sure you’re 100% satisfied before completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is licensed by the California State License Board (CSLB) and trained in all phases of hardscape and landscape construction, including artificial turf installation, pavers, concrete, and retaining walls.
