- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At BetterYard Construction, pricing is always transparent. Every estimate includes labor, materials, and cleanup so there are no surprises. We take a 10% deposit to secure the project, and then break the rest into clear progress payments. We don’t add hidden fees—only additional work requested outside of the signed contract would affect the price. We also offer occasional seasonal promotions and senior discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a free consultation where we listen to your vision, measure the space, and discuss options. We then provide a detailed written estimate. Once approved, we handle permits (if required), schedule the project, and assign a dedicated project manager. During installation, we keep you updated daily, and we do a final walkthrough to make sure you’re 100% satisfied before completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is licensed by the California State License Board (CSLB) and trained in all phases of hardscape and landscape construction, including artificial turf installation, pavers, concrete, and retaining walls. We stay up-to-date on the latest materials and installation methods, and we carry full insurance and bonding for your peace of mind.
