About
I have a double degree in Performance and Music Education from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and studied at Julliard. I have been teaching music for 45 years, and am very successful at it, with over 45 students singing professionally and 6 on Broadway.
I was trained classically and performed as an opera singer, but can teach any genre such as Broadway, jazz, pop, or country because I believe in proper technique and know it works.
I believe that it’s never too late to learn how to sing, and promise a wider range and healthier voice quickly through my lessons. A variety of ages take lessons from me, and I look forward to meeting new students that I can share my passion for singing with.

It is obvious that Marianna has a deep love of music and comes with a lot of experience. Her students have been on Broadway and have won multiple awards. I’m a beginner...she is intuitive in how she figures out ones range and puts one to work with a beautiful selection of repertoire. She is kind and has a great sense of humor. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are negotiable. I am here to help singers sing and have a good technique that keeps their voice healthy.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They come in for a lesson to my studio. We talk about their goals and what they would like to do with their voice. We discuss what we feel their voice needs. I vocalize them, we discuss how often they want to come, and we discuss what they can afford.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been singing since I was 3, and I've been teaching since I was 25.
