Christina is an AMAZING teacher. Besides being an incredibly talented singer herself, she has an innate ability to convey musical concepts to the most inexperienced singer in a way they can easily understand. Her kindness, compassion, and patience work wonders on insecure or confident performers. I can't believe the improvements I hear in my son, even from week to week. I wish half of his teachers had the enthusiasm and positivity that Christina brings so effortlessly. Whatever path my son takes, I know these lessons will have a lasting effect and no matter what, he will know how to carry a tune, breathe correctly, and have a greater understanding of the dynamics of music.

Christina is knowledgeable, super positive, unpretentious, and a talented teacher. Her approach is technical, and yet fun and supportive. I'm a "forty-something" dad-band guitar player who always wondered if I could sing -- well, Christina has somehow worked a miracle, because I am singing stronger than ever, and with much more confidence. She helps you find "your" voice, and polishes out your strengths, while also forcing you to take creative vocal risks. Lastly -- she is a total professional, and a saint. When the pandemic hit, my 16 year daughter with autism could no longer attend her special abilities cluster classes at her high school, and Christina agreed to work with her through Zoom lessons. It is my daughters favorite part of the week -- learning how to sing, while stuck at home because of Covid -19. If you are contemplating singing lessons Christina and VoxOps is the place to grow your voice.

Christina utilizes her own amazing natural talent and and then translates those abilities into her teaching. Her rapport with my child puts them at ease and creates a trust that is necessary in the development of voice which requires critique as well as support, and she does both with empathy, understanding, and experience. I consider the monthly cost a wonderful investment not only in my son's voice, which has shown astounding improvement over the year, but also in his confidence and grasp of concepts of what a good vocalization is and requires, which he will take with him the rest of his life. So glad Christina is his teacher and look forward to my son's vocal improvements for some time to come.
