It was such a pleasure to have Greg come cook for our family. We were searching for something memorable to celebrate our dad's 70th birthday. From first contact with Greg he was very responsive and happy to work with us to create a menu that could accommodate everyone. He was very clear in his explanations of everything and clear about all costs upfront. Leading up to the dinner he stayed in touch and confirmed all the details. He even had sent my mom some pictures earlier in the week of the dinner showing his preparations for the filets of the main course. Day of, he arrived on time with his sous chef with all ingredients organized and some prepared ahead of time. He was very personable as he cooked telling us about his ingredients and sharing some of his sources. His passion for food and sharing it was also on full display as he walked us through everything that he was doing, and even sharing cooking tips along the way. The biggest thing we shared is how special this meal was for our family, and it felt that he really took this to heart. Greg shared how this meal was going to be special for him as it was his last meal he prepared before heading out to pursue other endeavors. He even told us that one of his chef friends had a gift for our dad too. Thank you very much Greg for giving us a memorable night!

My sisters and I were looking for a private chef to surprise my dad for his 59th birthday this past weekend. This was our first time using Thumbtack and we are so glad that we found Greg through this platform! From the start, Greg was very responsive and we were able to chat and discuss different menu ideas for my dad, who is a very picky eater. Greg was very accommodating of the different food preferences for our family, and also offered a very reasonable price for the menu that he served. On the day of, Greg showed up on time and served up delicious food for our family. Greg was very insightful and interactive during the meal. He is very excited for you to try his food and loves seeing reactions. He also checked in often during the meal and his passion was clear as he chatted with us. Thanks so much, Greg!
