The best part about my role as a photographer is being able to continuously push myself at my craft while finding new ways of expressing my own artistic vision and telling someone else's story; a true collaborative effort.
What matters to me the most is that moment when I know for sure that my clients are satisfied with the work we've created together.
Having a background working with children I enjoy the challenge of capturing that golden moment. Living in San Diego, I cannot pass up the opportunity to photograph on one of the beautiful nearby beaches. Having said that, I also enjoy fine-tuning my knowledge and skills at studio lighting and portraiture.

Working with Candice was an absolute pleasure! She was fun, energetic, very patient and encouraging (my first time being behind the camera) and she's incredibly talented. We started on time and finished on time and got BEAUTIFUL consistent shots. Definitely a photographer I would recommend to people. Thank you Candice!!

I had an absolutely amazing time working with Candice for my headshots. She was very clear and great about communicating efficiently and effectively, promptly responding to any and all questions I had on Thumbtack and via text message. She has a lovely studio with a lot of variety to offer. She has a lot of helpful tips and suggestions while shooting, which helped my photos turn out great. Candice spent quality time with me and I LOVED the way my photos turned out. I would certainly work with Candice again, and I would highly recommend her for your photoshoot :)

We hired Candice for our youngest daughter's sweet 16 party, and she set the quality and affordability bar very high. While looking for photographers we wanted someone that had experience and that wanted to make the experience a personal one for everyone. To my surprise Candice did just that. Earlier that week she contacted me and asked if she could talk on the phone with our daughter. She wanted to get to know her on a personal level by asking her about things she likes and dislikes. Candice also asked about the kinds of photographs she’d like to take including, backdrops, props, & poses. This personal touch gave me the impression that Candice wanted to be a part of the event and not just photograph it. She cared about our family and making the event special.
On the day of the event she was punctual and showed up before we even arrived. When we finally got there she immediately started taking pictures as we all got out of our vehicle which was exciting and felt like being photographed by paparazzi! During our party Candice worked quickly in capturing amazing shots and was very conscious of the setting sunlight. She took amazing pictures in natural light and managed to capture our whole family beautifully! She also managed our guests well and was able to orchestrate them to take pictures with our debutante.
Throughout our party she seemed to be everywhere at the same time, capturing random shots of great moments.
The quality I most admire about Candice was revealed later that evening. It was getting late and almost time for her session to finish. However she had noticed our concern that one of our family members hadn’t shown up yet. She talked to me and said that missing photographs with any family member would be devastating, but she was willing to wait until their arrival so she could capture the memories that would be everlasting. Her understanding was sublime.
After our event Candice was diligent in editing the pictures to ensure the highest quality. She even took the time to add some cool colorized and black and whites of my favorite pictures!
I totally recommend Candice to be your next event photographer, she’ terrific!! Thank you so much Candice!!!
