FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do everything I can to save them as many pennies as I can. The reason being. Pennies add up. And i know what its like to earn hard working money. Most contractors are in this trade just to make money for themselves and thats it. I do this to make money and live a decent living as well. But my main priority is to help out my customers as much as I can and there is no better way than to save them money. Theres is lots of means for instance to buy materials from different sources. Or they can organize themselves and get the right amounts of things and shopping different stores to get a better price for the same item. Many people don’t see this, but this is the reason established contractors can charge half a million dollars for one medium size additional dwelling unit at times or why a-lot of them have real exaggerated prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first thing i like is of course a nice cordial greeting from myself and the customer. After that if they have no questions for me i opt to get a brief discussion about their project and what they have in mind. Right after that my brain automatically starts imagining the project and I begin to see what I would do in their situation and what I can do to improve it. I also like to get a few visuals as well. That helps a-lot as I can see what the situation will be like but then an in person meeting is a must so that we evalúe the situation together and call out even the smallest details and like that we avoid any issues from both parties with things not being caught and mentioned since the beginning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went thru an apprenticeship program and got certified a journeyman thru the Carpenters Local 619 Union. And though i specialize in Metal Stud Framing & Drywall, thru-out the years I partnered with professionals in different trades that taught me the right ways to do things and with my good watching and learning skills I was able to catch on right away.
