Sooo happy with my hair and makeup! And I’m super thankful Xochitl was available last minute to help me with my request - I reached out the day before my date night looking for someone on Thumbtack to do my hair and makeup but got busy and even after responding to her at 10p at night, she was so gracious and accommodating to secure me for a noon appointment the next day. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually consider travel time and pre-trials in my price however I do keep in mind current pricing and I'm aware that clients have numerous options. I consider my pricing low-medium level.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to approach my client in a way to make her feel comfortable. I also like to ask questions to get to know her better and understand her needs. I like to build relationships so I tend to be very friendly and bubbly but can mold my attitude to mirror that of my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in retail cosmetics my entire working life... about 15 years +
I have attended many basic makeup trainings as well as trend setting ones. I have also freelanced several years already doing mostly weddings, photo shoots and videos.
