FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary depending on the acts requested or the event needing planned with the travel and time needed included. Example. If someone wants a stilt walker. The hourly price is $200. But there are group rates for longer hours. The $200 price is also for local gigs. If you are wanting an entire event planned the client must have a budget. Prices vary depending on what services are needed for your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am always in training and learning new skills and scouting out talent for clients. I also teach private cirque classes and am an Instructor for Fern Street Circus and Sophia Isadora Academy of Circus Arts upon request. I also stay in contact with my staff, team, vendors and specialists on a regular basis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't intend on running away to join the circus or event planning. I believe through the powers to be and my child asking me to take her to a circus aerial class, that changed my life. I had previous years of dance, modeling, theater and acting, but I never imagined being a part of circus magic until one day my child came home and asked to take a trapeze class with a school friend. As I was sitting with the moms watching the class, an overwhelming feeling came to me and I simply could NOT stay seated or watch and the next class I took with my child and haven't looked back! I realized it would also help fuel my funds in being able to provide water wells in other countries which lead me to campaigning for CharityWater.Org
